Teacher Bios

Brett Bevell, founder of the Magical Awakening Institute is a world renowned healer, poet and author of The Reiki Magic Guide To Self Attunement (Crossing Press 2007) and the new book Reiki For Spiritual Healing (Crossing Press 2009).  He teaches regularly at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY and at other retreat centers around the world.

Michele Denis is the founder of West Coast Reiki Centre in Vancouver Canada. Besides being certified a teacher in the Magical Awakening® Spiritual Healing System, she is also a Reiki Master in both the Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki lineages.

James Philip, originally from Scotland, is a Magical Awakening teacher,  seasoned shamanic healer, spiritual medium, psychic intuitive and workshop leader. He trained at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain in London and is now an established staff teacher/practitioner at the Omega Holistic Institute, New York and at Gurmukh’s Golden Bridge Yoga Studio, Los Angeles.

Hethyrre Knack, certified Magical Awakening teacher, has studied extensively with Peter Goldman of The School of New Directions in England. She has been attuned to master level in Usui, Karuna, and Lightarian Reiki and is certified to pass on Lightarian Rays and AngelLinks, as well. She brings these and other modalities, along with soundhealing, to her work as an internationally-recognized spiritual teacher and soulpath healer.

Also, Lori is regularly a core faculty yoga instructor at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY. Lori lives and practices her many holistic gifts in Brewster, NY.
